Mobilization, maintenance, versatility and low start up costs are key factors in determining suitable equipment for mining, quarry and pit applications. Requirements and conditions vary greatly from site to site and portable equipment offers operators convenience, maximum versatility and increased durability to operate under diverse and extreme conditions. ELRUS equipment sets the standard for solutions to all of these requirements.

The equipment is modular. ELRUS pioneered common level design to accelerate set up and tear down processes and eliminate the need for loose conveyors. An entire crushing spread can be mobilized in as little as 4 hours without the use of a crane.

Maintenance is simplified because the equipment is designed to accommodate service; components are readily accessible for maintenance, and can easily be removed or replaced to accommodate service, replacement for modernization or increased production requirements.
In the end, portable equipment has a considerably higher resale value, largely due to the reasons listed previously. Demobilization is a snap as well. There is no disassembling like the large cumbersome stationary plants of the past. The equipment is un-plugged and hauled away to the next job or mine or auction to find a new life, in another mine, quarry or pit.
